ALBANY — Keri S. Mazzuca was sentenced to 25 years in prison Friday for the death of her newborn, an infant boy whose remains were found beneath Washington Park’s statue of Moses nearly 30 years ago.
“I did a horrible, unimaginable thing. And I lived with remorse and regret,” Mazzuca told acting Albany County Judge Roger McDonough during brief remarks, which included an apology, delivered before the judge imposed punishment.
