GUILDERLAND — A stabbing on Sunday led Guilderland Police to charge a neighbor of the victim with attempted murder on Tuesday.
At 12:45 a.m. on Sunday, April 20, police and Emergency Medical Services responded to a call at 4 Winding Brook Drive where a 44-year-old man had a laceration on his left side, according to a release from Guilderland Police. He was taken to Albany Medical Center.
Police learned that, during a fight at 3 Winding Brook Drive, Douglas R. Martak, 54, had slashed the victim, resulting in “serious injuries to his back and abdomen,” the release said…
