ALBANY — Amtrak service between Albany-Rensselaer and New York City will be reduced starting Monday to allow for rehabilitation work on the East River Tunnel in New York City.
Amtrak plans to provide 10 northbound and 10 southbound trips on a daily basis between Albany-Rensselaer and New York City when the new spring schedule takes effect.
The Amtrak website shows at least two daily trips, which depart from Albany-Rensselaer at 12:10 p.m. and 6:10 p.m., no longer on the schedule as of Monday. It also shows two daily trips to Albany from New York City, one at 8:35 a.m. and another at 3:15 p.m., no longer on the schedule…
