POLICE: Woman arrested for road rage incident involving imitation handgun

GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (WRGB) — A woman was arrested Saturday for a reported road rage incident involving imitation handgun.

At 2:26 p.m. Saturday, state police responded to the area of the Crossgates Mall parking lot in Guilderland reports of a road rage incident involving a handgun. The investigation determined during a road rage incident on I-90 in Albany, Brittany B. Alvarado, 31, of East Schodack, who is not known to the victim, reportedly displayed what appeared to be a handgun. During the reported incident, a child under the age of 16 was in Alvarado’s vehicle. Police said they located an imitation weapon was later located inside Alvarado vehicle, matching the victim’s description of the weapon displayed.

Alvarado was arrested and charged with second-degree Reckless Endangerment, second-degree Menacing, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Vehicle and Traffic Law violations…
