NISKAYUNA — One person was injured after a garage caught fire Sunday morning on Van Antwerp Road.
Firefighters were summoned just before 8:15 a.m. and found “advanced fire” in a one-story detached garage, Niskayuna Fire Chief James Vena said in a news release.
It took around 45 minutes to bring the blaze under control and flammable material in the garage including gasoline, propane and oxy acetelyne complicated efforts to extinguish the blaze, Vena said…
