COEYMANS, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Coeymans man is accused of assaulting his neighbor after a verbal argument allegedly turned physical on April 22. Lloyd Young, 77, was charged with second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police said Young picked up a sharp, pointed farm implement during the verbal argument and struck the neighbor several times. The victim sustained a puncture wound to the torso and head injuries, per the Coeymans Police Department.
The neighbor was taken to Albany Medical Center where they were treated for their injuries and released. Young was arraigned and released with an appearance ticket for late May.
