Bronx man pleads guilty in 2024 Madison Park shootout, faces more than six years in prison

ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) — A 21-year-old from the Bronx is now facing more than six years in prison after pleading guilty to his role in a 2024 shootout at Albany’s Madison Park.

Cheick Diarra, 21, of the Bronx, pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of second-degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon. He will be sentenced to six and a half years in prison followed by five years of post-release supervision on July 16.
