Clarksville man arraigned for smashing window and door at Albany pub

Albany, NY (WRGB) — Albany County District Attorney Lee C. Kindlon announced, a 25-year-old John Jeffers from Clarksville has been formally charged in connection with a glass-smashing incident at McGeary’s Pub last year.

Jeffers was arraigned Thursday on an indictment charging him with one count of Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, a Class D felony.

On December 1, 2024, Albany Police responded to McGeary’s Pub at 4 Clinton Square following reports of an unruly patron. Police discovered that Jeffers reportedly smashed the pub’s front window with a table and then threw a chair through the front door, causing $10,000 worth of damage…
