Former Roglieri associate pleads guilty to wire fraud in loan scheme

ALBANY — A former top executive at Prime Capital Ventures has pleaded guilty to wire fraud as part of an agreement with prosecutors in the ongoing multimillion-dollar commercial loan fraud investigation against the company’s founder, Kris Roglieri.

Christopher Snyder of Virginia pleaded guilty Friday in federal court in Albany to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud before U.S. District Court Judge Mae A. D’Agostino, and was subsequently released after surrendering his passport. He is scheduled to be sentenced in September.

The public court filings in Snyder’s case do not indicate whether he is cooperating in the investigation or will be subpoenaed to testify at Roglieri’s trial, which is scheduled to begin in seven months…
