Albany, NY (WRGB) — Daval Byrams, a 22-year-old resident of Troy, New York, has pleaded guilty to possessing three kilograms of cocaine with the intent to distribute.
Byrams confessed that on March 11, 2025, he traveled from the Capital Region to New York City to acquire cocaine. Upon returning home that evening, he was found carrying a bag containing three one-kilogram bricks of cocaine. Law enforcement officials arrested Byrams as he disembarked from a bus in Schenectady, New York.
Byrams faces a potential sentence of at least 5 years and up to 40 years in prison, a fine of up to $5 million, and a term of supervised release ranging from 4 years to life.
