Rouse previously admitted that on March 4, he used a razor blade to slash a person in the head, face, and neck following an argument between the two. Rouse was taken into custody by Albany Police shortly after the incident, and the victim required an extended hospital stay to be treated for their injuries.
Judge Roger McDonough ordered Rouse to serve five years of probation following his prison term. Assistant District Attorney Beven Nedumthakady handled the case’s prosecution.
