Police review board to investigate after Albany officer appears to point Taser at passerby

ALBANY — The city’s Community Police Review Board voted Thursday to investigate an incident in which a city police officer appeared to point a Taser at a passerby.

The board voted unanimously at their regular monthly meeting to launch an investigation into the April incident and the city’s Taser policies. The board also voted to file subpoenas for footage of the incident.
