We all desire safer streets, especially for our children. Albany’s outgoing Mayor Kathy Sheehan drew a hard line in the sand when she recently lowered the speed limit from 30 MPH to 25 MPH throughout the city, dropping it down to 20 MPH in school zones.
Albany Made Over One Million in Fines Since Fall
Albany has earned millions of dollars in the last few months from its heavily monitored traffic cameras, and it will continue issuing tickets even after the regular school year ends.
