Albany Police said investigators from their Special Operations Unit arrested two people following investigation into two separate animal cruelty incidents.
On June 24, police said they responded to a residence on Cuyler Avenue around 10:35 a.m. for complaints of three kittens locked inside a cat carrier on a back porch, while in direct sunlight during a heat advisory. Officers discovered the kittens upon arrival, and they were found to be locked inside the cat carrier.
