Albany business owner and mother facing felonies in connection to brutal assault

ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) — A 30-year-old entrepreneur from Albany is facing half a dozen felonies after he and his mother reportedly kidnapped a woman and threatened to light her on fire after assaulting and pouring gasoline on her.

El-Jaquaad Faulkner, 30, of Albany, was in court Monday, charged with assault with a weapon with intent to cause serious injury, second-degree kidnapping, third-degree assault, two counts of rape and first-degree unlawful imprisonment charges.
