Two men were arrested on felony drug charges following a traffic stop in Albany. On Tuesday night (July 1), Albany County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop near Central Avenue and North Lake Avenue due to a vehicle and traffic violation. During the stop, police discovered that the driver, Isaiah S. Allen, 22, of Albany, and the passenger, Alfonso A. Ramos, 23, of Latham, were in possession of approximately 22 grams of cocaine. The police stated that the cocaine was intended for distribution, given its weight and individual packaging.
Both men face two felony counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, along with traffic violations. They were transported to the Albany County Jail as pre-arraign detainees and are scheduled to be arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court on Wednesday (July 2)…
