ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A ribbon cutting was held on Thursday to celebrate the new Lincoln Park Pool. Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan and other city officials were there to cut the ribbon.

A soft opening is being held on Friday, July 4. The pool will be open to all Albany residents on Saturday.
Pool hours are 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The new pool has the following features:
- Zero-Entry Pool with In-Water Spray Features
- 10-Lane ½ Size Olympic Lap Pool
- Splash Pad
- Water Slides
- New Restrooms and Shade Pavilions
- Picnic patios
