SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – In March, NEWS10 introduced you to Clifton Park-based pet photographer, Amy Zounes. She was looking for dog models, after being selected as a contributing photographer for ‘Tails of the World,’ an international book fundraiser. NEWS10’s Cassie Hudson caught up with Zounes to find out how the project is going.
“It blew up! Um, I had so many applicants it was fantastic, the news story definitely helped a lot,” said Zounes.

The overall sales of the ‘Tails of the World’ book benefit an animal rescue group chosen by its founder, Caitlin J. McColl. Each individual pet photographer raises funds for an animal nonprofit of their choice in their community.
Zounes is supporting the Mr. Mo Project, a Clifton Park dog rescue serving senior and special needs dogs. After booking 10 sessions with dog models and fundraising, Zounes said she raised $3,405 for the Mr. Mo Project.
