COHOES, N.Y. — A traffic stop early Friday morning led to the arrest of Robert T. Epps, 27, of Albany, on multiple weapons and drug charges.
Police said the incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. at the intersection of Remsen Street and Cayuga Street. During the stop, police say officer discovered a loaded Glock 17 semiautomatic handgun, two magazines containing 18 rounds of 9mm ammunition, a switchblade, and 9.87 ounces of marijuana.
Epps was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Cohoes Police Department for processing. He faces several charges, including Criminal Use of a Firearm in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Loaded Firearm in the 2nd Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree for an ammunition feeding device, Criminal Possession of a Weapon Firearm/Knife, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree…
