New York’s capital city is dealing with a string of violence over the holiday weekend. Police say 10 people were shot — a 17-year-old victim is fighting for his life — and a fire destroyed two buildings.
Authorities continue to investigate three separate incidents that unfolded within about an eight-hour period Friday evening into early Saturday morning.
Most of the people impacted by the acts of violence were teenagers. It’s left many asking why, and what more can be done to curtail a troubling trend that is not unique to the Albany community…
