Career criminal pleads guilty to Albany store robbery, marking 13th felony

Albany, NY (WRGB) — Vincent Squitieri, a 45-year-old man with a lengthy criminal history, has pleaded guilty to robbing a store, marking his 13th felony conviction. Albany County District Attorney Lee C. Kindlon announced the plea.

The robbery happened April 13 at the Lark Central Market on Lark Street. According to authorities, Squitieri entered the store, demanded money from a cashier, and threatened to shoot if his demands were not met. He fled with $500 after destroying the cash register.

Albany Police responded to the scene shortly after 10:30 AM and used surveillance footage to track Squitieri. His criminal record spans over 20 years, with numerous arrests for larcenies, robberies, and burglaries, primarily in Kings and Queens counties…
