TROY — Cafe Euphoria is unusually calm considering how many snakes Riley Lynn Nairn has scattered around her waffles.
Some of the snakes are warriors — one a Mexican luchador wrestler, another plated in gold-trimmed fantasy armor. One is stitched together like Frankenstein’s monster; another crocheted snake plush is literally stitched. Fuzzy green tufts and large amber eyes of a human-sized snake peek over the table. None are real reptiles, of course, but all are Visaj, the king cobra furry persona, or fursona, of Nairn.
