ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– A Troy woman has admitted to killing another person after a 2024 car accident in Selkirk. According to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office, Jacklyn Parker, 25, pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide.

In August 2024, Parker collided with a car on River Road after allegedly crossing over into the opposite lane of traffic. The driver of the other vehicle, Colleen Selkirk, 60, of Hannacroix, was declared dead at the scene.
Parker was originally charged with operating a motor vehicle while ability impaired by drugs. According to the District Attorney’s Office, an investigation determined Parker had an extensive history with epileptic seizures and was told not to drive without being on her medication.
Parker then admitted to police she had not taken her medicine for more than a week and suffered a seizure as she was driving, seconds prior to the crash, officials said…
