An Albany man is furious after he shared videos on social media early Thursday morning that appear to show Albany Police patrol cars smashing into his Mustang and work van.
Albany Police confirmed Thursday morning “that two PD units were involved in an accident responding to another call that an arrest was made for an individual having a handgun. I can also confirm that the video on Facebook stating the officers were “drag racing” is not accurate. They were responding to their fellow officers.”
According to police, two separate Albany Police units who were responding in an emergency capacity to assist their fellow officers were involved in a collision, resulting in an accident.
