19-year-old charged with felony for possessing fake ID after routine traffic stop

Saratoga County, NY (WRGB) — A routine traffic stop for speeding on state Route 9P in the town of Malta led to the arrest of a 19-year-old Natalie Stuart on Wednesday evening.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office reported that Stuart, a resident of Malta, was stopped at 8:27 PM for driving over the maximum posted speed limit. During the stop, deputies discovered Stuart was in possession of a forged New York State driver’s license, which she reportedly provided to the deputy.

Stuart was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, a class D felony, in addition to the speeding infraction…
