COLONIE — A car dealer accused of defrauding customers and lenders out of millions of dollars sold his Florida home last month and may have left the country, according to recent allegations made in lawsuits and to law enforcement.
The dealer, Vladimir Ranguelov, is the owner of Bul Auto, an exotic car dealership with locations on Central Avenue in Colonie and in Jacksonville, Fla. He has been named in several lawsuits filed in both state and federal court alleging fraud; both locations have closed in recent months.
In addition to selling various used high-end cars, Bul Auto also sold cars made by Karma, an electric vehicle manufacturer based in California, and was an Alfa Romeo dealership. The Times Union has been unable to reach Ranguelov since the allegations first surfaced…
