He was a mentor, a fighter, and a friend to many. Patrick LaFortune Jr., 32, of Schenectady died last week in a motorcycle crash in Glenmont as he was traveling northbound on Route 9W and was struck by a vehicle that was traveling southbound on Route 9W.
The vehicle that was traveling southbound crossed over the center line and struck the motorcycle being driven by Lafortune.
