Billingsley was arrested on October 9, 2021 in connection with a shooting on North Lake Avenue in Albany where the District Attorney’s Office said two rival motorcycle gangs engaged in a shootout that killed Alexander Bolton, 29, and left six others wounded, including Billingsley. The defendant was said to have a loaded handgun during the incident.

Albany Police reported finding more than 70 shell casings from several handguns the night of the shootout. DNA evidence on two of the handguns that were recovered connected Billingsley to the incident.
