National Secret, a 3-year-old gelding trained by Melanie Giddings, was euthanized this past weekend after suffering an injury during training at Saratoga Race Course.
According to New York State’s Equine Death and Breakdown database, National Secret was breezing a half-mile under jockey Christopher Elliott on Saratoga’s main track this past Saturday when he suffered a severe injury to his right front knee.
