Capital Concert Series continues at Empire State Plaza with music from Lit

ALBANY — The Capital Concert Series continues at Empire State Plaza with a free evening of rock on Wednesday, July 23, headlined by multi-platinum alt-rockers Lit. Known for their early 2000s anthem “My Own Worst Enemy,” the band brings their high-octane live show to downtown Albany as part of the state-run summer music series.

Opening the bill is PLUSH, a rising all-female rock band formed in the Capital Region that’s garnered national attention with their powerful vocals, blistering guitar work, and throwback grunge influence. The group takes the stage at 5:30 p.m., bookended by sets from Mr. CEO, a local DJ and personality who will keep the crowd energized throughout the evening.

The concert is free and open to the public, running from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the Empire State Plaza in Albany. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Full schedule and event info are available through the New York State Office of General Services at empirestateplaza.ny.gov…
