NORTH GREENBUSH — The cities of Troy and Rensselaer that border the Hudson River are only three miles apart.
But without boating or trespassing by foot through wooded areas, getting from one city to the other requires using roads that are far from the river’s eastern shore.
But things could change, according to Rensselaer County Deputy Executive James Gordon. He’s confident that easements for a connector trail in Rensselaer County will be fully worked out “sooner than later” with key property owner Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and others…
