SOUTH COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — South Colonie Central School District is looking for more bus drivers ahead of the new school year. One of their bus drivers has been behind the school bus wheel for the last 30 years and described why he loves the job.

Peter Murray said everyday is an adventure when he’s driving the school bus. He’s been doing it for the last 30 years with South Colonie Central School District — but it never seems to get old.
“Everyday is different, even though its the same thing everyday, being able to look out the window and seeing things change whether its the weather or new developments coming in,” said Murray. “I get to actually drive the bus and pull the parking brake and its almost like a Disney ride but its not Disney so I mean you go five miles an hour and pull the brake its like ‘errrr’.”
