ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– The U.S. Attorney’s Office has announced that a Watervliet man will serve a year and six months in prison for dealing guns without a license. Sean Patrick, 46, will also be required to give up multiple guns and ammunition.

In November 2022, federal agents executed a search warrant on his home in Watervliet. Agents reported taking four privately made, non-serialized, semi-automatic pistols, gun kits, over a thousand rounds of ammunition and a semi-automatic pistol with a destroyed serial number.
In May 2024, he admitted to building and selling four semi-automatic handguns with no serial numbers between 2021 and 2022 without having the proper licensing or paperwork, and without paying taxes on the sales.
“Mr. Patrick’s decision to bypass federal laws and manufacture and sell illegal weapons has landed him in federal prison,” FBI Special Agent in Charge Craig L. Tremaroli said. “The FBI will continue to work with our partners at the United States Attorney’s Office to investigate anyone looking to push illegal firearms into our communities and ensure they are held accountable.”…
