Bethlehem police link check fraud to another case in town

Albany man attempted to open an account at Sunmark, linked to Pioneer Bank fraud in June

DELMAR – A 56-year-old Albany man faces a slew of charges after he was allegedly found in possession of fraudulent documents after attempting to open an account at Sunmark Credit Union on Thursday, July 10.

Matters worsened for Michael Lang once he returned to Bethlehem Town Court five days later. After an investigation by detectives, he was charged with another incident of fraud stemming from his alleged actions at Pioneer Bank on Delaware Avenue on June 23.
