Albany, NY (WRGB) — A 21-year-old Albany man, Tywone Jackson, has been charged with possessing a second illegal firearm while awaiting sentencing for a previous gun charge, Albany County District Attorney Lee C. Kindlon announced today.
On June 16, Albany Police arrested Jackson on Third Avenue. He was found with a loaded handgun with 16 rounds and 5.4 ounces of crack cocaine. The gun had been reported stolen from Georgia in 2023.
Jackson was arraigned on a four-count indictment on Friday before the Honorable Roger McDonough.
