VALATIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Valatie man was arrested twice after a reported domestic disturbance that injured an infant.
Police were first called to a home on Herrick Road in the village of Valatie on July 29. Police said Mickey Miller, 56, and his partner were having a fight that turned physical. He reportedly grabbed a knife and threatened both his partner and a 2-month-old. He then threw an object that struck the baby in the head.

Both victims were taken to Albany Medical Center for evaluation. Miller was charged with menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned and released to probation, and a restraining order was issued for both victims.
He was arrested again on July 31 after police said he returned to the victims’ home. He was then charged with criminal contempt for violating the restraining order. He was arraigned and sent to the Columbia County Jail. He is scheduled to return to court on August 5…
