Saratoga County (WRGB) — A Mechanicville man was arrested and charged with multiple felonies in connection to a crash that occurred in May.
Tuesday, New York State Police arrested Kevin J. Kearney, 46, of Mechanicville, charging him with third-degree Criminal Possession of Stolen Property and third-degree Grand Larceny.
According to police, on May 7, 2025, Kearney was charged with Felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree, Felony Driving While Intoxicated, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, and multiple other vehicle and traffic violations, after police say he stole the vehicle involved in the May 7 incident. Kearney reportedly later crashed into a utility pole before fleeing the scene on foot.
