Albany Police host first unified National Night Out event at Swinburne Park

Albany, N.Y. (WNYT) – The Albany Police Department is bringing neighbors, local organizations, and law enforcement together Tuesday night for a citywide National Night Out celebration.

For the first time, the department is hosting one unified event at Swinburne Park, running from 4 to 8 p.m. In previous years, separate neighborhood events were held across the city. Officials say this year’s format allows for greater collaboration and community involvement.
