CLINTON, N.Y. (NEWS10)– An Albany man was arrested Tuesday on drug possession charges after a traffic stop on the Taconic State Parkway. According to the New York State Police, Quintrill Clark, 35, allegedly had crack cocaine and fentanyl on him during the stop.

State Police said around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, troopers stopped a 2020 Jeep heading north on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Clinton for a NYS vehicle and traffic law violation. As troopers spoke with the driver, identified as Clark, a State Police K9 named Wild, began an exterior sniff.
According to troopers, the dog sensed the presence of drugs. In response, officials conducted a search of the car, which reportedly found 383 grams of crack cocaine and 213 grams of fentanyl.
Troopers reported finding $2,641 in cash, which was seized.
He was charged with:
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the first degree, a class A-I felony
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the second degree, a class A-II felony
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, a class B felony
- NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law violations
According to state police, Clark was arraigned in the town of Pleasant Valley Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center. A preliminary hearing will be scheduled for a later date…
