Plane makes emergency landing at Albany International Airport

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A small airplane was forced to make an emergency landing at Albany International Airport on Thursday morning. The impromptu stop was due to the plane running out of fuel during its intended route, according to airport officials.

The aircraft landed safely at the Albany travel hub, but needed to be doused with water by emergency crews to address smoke coming from the plane. No injuries were reported in the operation.
