COEYMANS — The Albany County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a former corporate controller for Carver Companies, accusing her of stealing more than $7,300 from the company.
Sheriff Craig D. Apple Sr. reported the arrest of Amber M. Mercado, 38, of Albany, on a charge of third-degree grand larceny.
According to investigators, a probe launched in February revealed that Mercado allegedly stole $7,364.55 from the Coeymans Landing Marina, a division of Carver Companies, between July and November of 2024 while she was employed as the corporate controller…
