Minor faces felony charges for damaging monitor, assaulting Saratoga County officer

SARATOGA COUNTY — A minor was arrested Friday for criminal mischief in the third degree, a class E felony, and again Tuesday for assault in the second degree, a class D felony, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

The minor is accused of damaging an ankle monitor by cutting it off, causing more than $250 in damage.

Authorities said the minor also intentionally prevented a police officer from performing their lawful duty and caused physical injury to the officer…
