ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– An Albany man was arrested on a warrant Monday by New York State Police and the Troy Police Department for allegedly stealing money from a Rensselaer County resident. According to troopers, Mark Coonradt, 41, was hired as a contractor but allegedly didn’t do any work.

State Police reportedly received a contractor theft complaint on June 19 at about 12:14 p.m. A preliminary investigation determined Coonradt was hired to complete roof work on a home in Brunswick.
The victim allegedly paid more than $3,000 to Coonradt who agreed to start the work that month. However, he reportedly didn’t start the work or return the victim’s money.
In response, an arrest warrant was issued by the Brunswick Town Court on July 14. Troopers said he was arrested on August 4 and charged with grand larceny in the third degree…
