ALBANY — Due to forecasted evening thunderstorms, Wednesday’s Blue Öyster Cult concert has been moved to the Empire State Plaza Convention Center. The band is headlining the annual New York State Food Festival.
Because storms aren’t expected to begin until late afternoon, the first half of the Food Festival, featuring food trucks and vendors, farmers market and afternoon concert by Hallelujah Hat Trick, will proceed from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Empire State Plaza as scheduled. Blue Öyster Cult, with special guests Aquanett and Super 400, will perform indoors starting at 5 p.m. Limited food vendors will be available inside the convention center.

Large bags will be prohibited, though parents of small children will be permitted to bring a diaper bag. No storage or check-in will be available…
