“Jim with animal control of Colonie called and they asked us if we’d be interested in taking in two kittens whose eyes were just opened,” said Patty Geddes, president of Noah’s Kingdom Humane Society in Albany and the kittens’ foster.
With open arms, Geddes and Noah’s Kingdom Humane Society executive director Liz Fazio, drove to the recycling facility. The kittens were in a big cardboard box waiting for them.
“Why would somebody put a kitten in a recycle bin, you know, there’s different options that you can call around and they ask,” said Geddes.
