Watervliet motorcyclist dies after crash

WATERVLIET, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The motorcyclist who was severely injured in a crash on Friday morning was pronounced dead on Sunday, per the Watervliet Police Department. Police identified the deceased as Christopher Dilallo, 41, of Watervliet.

Officers report that the 41-year-old motorcyclist was traveling westbound on 19th Street when he crashed into a vehicle that had just made a left turn onto 19th Street from 12 Avenue. Dilallo was reportedly ejected from his motorcycle and pinned underneath the vehicle, per police.

Police said Dilallo was transferred to Syracuse for specialized treatment related to injuries sustained in the crash, but he ultimately succumbed to his injures on Sunday morning. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
