Local veteran gifted new roof by nationwide program

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A local veteran got a new roof on Friday as part of the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project. They partner with local contractors to complete roof repairs for military families.

Elizabeth Condon, a veteran of the U.S. Army and Army National Guard, was the recipient of the new roof. The Owens Corning Foundation donated roofing materials and S&G Roofing donated the labor.

The Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project has provided more than 675 new roofs to military members since 2016.
