ALTAMONT, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Indian Ladder Farms Cidery and Brewery will host its two-day annual Picklepalooza celebration on August 30 and 31. With a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Pickle, the farm is celebrating six years of the festival with a wide variety of pickles, pickle beer and cider, pickle-themed food, and more.

From noon to 5 p.m. each day, guests at the farm can try Mr. Pickle, a 4% alcohol by volume Gose beer, or Mrs. Pickle, a 7.7% alcohol by volume cider from the farm. DeFazio’s will also be serving up pickle pizzas, while ILF Kitchen will have a pickle BLT, pickle plate, and more.
Picklepalooza also features live music from Freek’s Garage, who will play two sets at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Pickle enthusiasts can also expect other food, drink, and artisan vendors.
“Picklepalooza started as a fun experiment, but it’s become one of our most anticipated weekends of the year,” Indian Ladder Farms Cidery & Brewery co-owner Dietrich Gehring said. “Mr. Pickle and Mrs. Pickle really showcase how creative we can be with local ingredients, from the cucumbers and dill to the apples and hops grown right here on the farm. It’s about bringing people together to try something unexpected, enjoy great music, and have a little fun with their food and drink.”…
