Albany man gets 9 years in prison for guns, drugs

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) — An Albany man was sentenced on Tuesday to 9 years in prison for having illegal guns and drugs.

Parrish Butler, 32, was arrested in February after police raided a home on the 700 block of Old South Pearl Street, where he and his girlfriend lived. Officers found a loaded ghost gun, loaded semi-automatic pistol, and multiple high-capacity magazines, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office. They also found 27 grams of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Butler pleaded guilty to drug charges. He also must serve 5 years of post-release supervision…
