“This partnership with the city of Troy and the mayor has been absolutely amazing, and we are so excited to have the signs going up in the park so that people know that this is a safe and drug free zone for our community,” Tarasha Darden McKoy with Troy Drug Free Communities Coalition said. “We want families to come, to have an enjoyable time, and do that drug free and drug safe.”

Troy Mayor Carmella Mantello also said the signs are “a piece of the pie” when it comes to combating substances in parks. There will be multiple organizations working to remind kids and adults that public parks are substance free zones.
